The incumbent will be responsible to assist the Chefs with the preparation of fine dining food preparation for all hotel outlets
Food preparation qualification or relevant experience
2-3 years experience in a 5* establishment
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards
- Good cooking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Key Performance Areas:
- Adhere to standard portions and 5* standards.
- Effective stock control, minimise wastage and correct food storage.
- Food preparation, presentation and service according to operational requirements and procedures.
- Maintain hygiene procedures and controls.
- To perform all kitchen duties related to hygiene and food preparation in line with operational standards
