Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible to assist the Chefs with the preparation of fine dining food preparation for all hotel outlets

Education

Food preparation qualification or relevant experience

Experience:

2-3 years€™ experience in a 5* establishment

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of food hygiene standards
  • Good cooking skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Key Performance Areas:

  • Adhere to standard portions and 5* standards.
  • Effective stock control, minimise wastage and correct food storage.
  • Food preparation, presentation and service according to operational requirements and procedures.
  • Maintain hygiene procedures and controls.
  • To perform all kitchen duties related to hygiene and food preparation in line with operational standards
