Job Purpose

Responsible for the effective day-to-day shift management of slots gaming operations with specific regard to maintaining products and standards of operation, maximising customer satisfaction and managing spend.


  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 3-year Degree in Business Management is preferred
  • Gaming Management Development programme is preferred


At least 2 years€™ experience in a supervisory role within the gaming industry environment

Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
  • Physically able to move operating equipment
  • Visual acuity and ability to identify colours
  • Training; coaching; keeping abreast of new developments in field
  • Analysing / Diagnosing performance of the outlet / product performance
  • Reviewing - Assessing feasibility; assessing compliance; efficiencies and investigating
  • Problem-Solving
  • Slots Product knowledge
  • Gaming Regulations
  • Gaming/Slots : Revenue Analysis, Product Analysis & forecasting
  • Proficient MS Office skills

Key Performance Areas:

Shift management

  • Put in place duty allocations to ensure maximum coverage
  • Interact and be present on the floor during service to understand and assist clients with requests, special requirements, recommendations, concerns, resolution of complaints, etc.

Slots product

  • Conduct slots analyses in relation to occupancy levels
  • Lease product management
  • Monitor & provide input to strategy ito optimal product mix

Financial control

  • Manages complementary spend
  • Authorises spend in line with budget

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensures that guests are treated with courtesy and respect at all times
  • Builds relationships with regular and VIP punters on the slots floor

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Liaise with F&B on food and beverage offerings and services on the gaming slots\floor
  • Liaise and update hotels and management on VIP arrivals and spend.
