Job Purpose

Be responsible for handling and managing all guest challenges and queries in line with the company€™s policies and procedures.


€¢ Matric or equivalent


€¢ At least 2 years` experience in a 5 Star Hotel environment in a similar position €¢ Professional disposition

Skills and Knowledge

€¢ Computer literacy essential €“ MS Office and Opera €¢ Be Guest Centric €¢ Strong guest relations skills with the ability to deal with guest challenges and queries €¢ Ability to work under pressure €¢ Excellent verbal and written English communication skills €¢ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle conflict situations €¢ Strong administration / organisational skills €¢ Positive and helpful attitude to guests and fellow employees €¢ Ability to work shifts €¢ Knowledge of relevant hygiene, health and safety requirements

Key Performance Areas:

€¢ To ensure that official records are kept of all guest / staff related issues by way of the prompt response system

€¢ Responsible for and managing of the Duty Manager€™s telephone during your shift

€¢ To ensure 5 star service is provided to all guests

€¢ Responsible for supervising and organising all group check-ins in line with group and company requirements €¢ Monitor workplace policies, rules and procedures
