Job Purpose

The Cashier main responsibilities are to attend to the guest€™s transactional cash exchange requirements for gaming play purposes; Note: Cashiers are allocated to various cash desk customer service points depending on unit requirements and their levels of competence and may be rotated accordingly.

Education

€¢ Matric or equivalent, with Mathematics or Accounting

Experience:

€¢ Computer literacy €¢ Banking experience would be advantageous €¢ Customer service would be advantageous

Skills and Knowledge

€¢ Numerical skills €¢ EGS & Cashiering Procedural knowledge advantageous €¢ Communication skills €¢ Guest service orientated €¢ Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements €¢ Mobility and ability to move around as per job requirements (including with the use of aids) €¢ Vision, hearing (including with the use of aids) speaking and literacy €¢ Full visual acuity Manual Dexterity €“ ability to handle chips with both hands €¢ Ability to use basic computer application skills in the context of their own job

Key Performance Areas:

Guest service €¢ Complaint, disputes and suggestions are actioned/ escalated as per Standard Operating Procedures €¢ Be able to pass on all product information (including promotion information, functions, facilities, etc.) to guests €¢ Staff uniform, hygiene and appearance is maintained as per Standard Operating Procedures Administration €¢ Company policies and procedures, Gaming Board rules and regulations and Standard Operating Procedures adhered to at all times Financial €¢ Company policies and procedures, Gaming Board rules and regulations and Standard Operating Procedures adhered to at all times €¢ Financial transactions / payouts are accurate and timeous €¢ Equipment malfunctions are communicated timeously Count €¢ Counting, recording and validating all monies
