Job Purpose

Reporting to the PR Manager the incumbent will assist with planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of all unit promotional activities.   

Education

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing is preferred

Experience:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with previous social media and data analytics experience

Skills and Knowledge

  • A relevant Marketing / Public Relations Diploma an advantage
  • Computer literate(MS Word / MS Excel)

Key Performance Areas:

  • Promotions and Events
  • Continuous development of new promotions in order to maintain, develop and grow our market. 
  • Planning, co-ordination, implementation and evaluation of promotions and events
  • Analysis of events and promotions to ensure feasibility for ROI and relevant to target market
  • Liaison with departments and suppliers to ensure success of projects

 

  • Media Relationship Management
  • Maintain relations with media wherever relevant €“ press releases, media launches and events €“ to ensure positive publicity and correct target market is reached

 

  • Communications €“ Internal and External
  • Assist in execution of internal communications to all staff to ensure cohesive messaged aligned to corporate  brand & culture
  • Seek out relevant content opportunities to represent the brand and effective external communication through appropriate channels within SI and external
  • Monitor social media and drive meaningful content

 

  • Stakeholder relations €“ CRM
  • Growing and maintaining stakeholder relations to ensure sustainable competitive advantage
  • Administer and conduct site inspections on property to secure potential future business, outshine our competitors and wow our guests

 

 

  • Marketing Collateral
  • Ensure promotional material and collateral complies with CI and achieves objectives

 

  • General
  • Cost saving and productivity improvement.
  • General administration duties
  • Monitor and compile analysis reports
