Job Purpose

Manage and control of all Maintenance Administration. Ensuring that the policies of Table Bay and Sun International are applied accordingly.


Grade 12 or relevant qualification


  • 2 - 4 Years relevant experience in a large 5 star Hotel.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • IFS Advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle situations of conflict
  • Good communication skills

Key Performance Areas:

  • Store and Stock control
  • Quotes from all suppliers
  • Preparing of quotes on IFS for approval of HOD
  • Ordering of critical spares and consumables
  • Control of tools in and out of the stores
  • Generate and closing of job cards after artisans have signed off
  • Filing of all documents (Certificates etc.)
  • Contractors control (Paperwork)
  • Creating planned maintenance schedules on IFS with assistance of the artisans
  • Stock taking once a month of all stock in the stores
  • Report at the end of each month
  • Assist artisans when required on major issues
  • General administration of department functions
